Our client’s Business Intelligence & Data Warehousing Practice area designs, develops, and implements systems and processes to capture, integrate and distribute information in an enterprise. Their specific service offerings within the Business Intelligence & Data Warehousing area include: Information Strategy & Architecture Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing Our client’s technology consultants, working with other IT organizations, can help their clients to use technology integration to solve business challenges. The objective of this role is to deliver IT value that helps drive business results by understanding both the business of technology and how technology works within the business. For each level described below there are two career tracks: The first is the SME (Subject Matter Expert) path. The SME track is for those who are looking for a career path which emphasizes technical and/or industry expertise over the more traditional business development oriented career path. The second is the more traditional business development oriented career track which emphasizes the generation of revenue and requires that the candidate possesses, maintains, and builds a solid base of contacts from which to drive new business - even if it requires "cold calling.” This path is for those who are interested in and capable of acting as a true “Rainmaker.” Additional opportunities exist for those candidates who possess strong experience in specific industry verticals in addition to meeting the cross-industry requirements stated below. *Candidates interested in pursuing opportunities at levels up to and including Direct Entry Partner will be considered on a case-by-case basis based upon the merits of their accomplishments and qualifications for the role. A Manager in the Business Intelligence & Data Warehousing practice is expected to have the following overall IT and consulting expertise: Development of statements of work and/or client proposals Identify business opportunities to increase usability and profitability of information architecture Experience with program leadership, governance and change enablement Develop and manage vendor relationships Lead workshops for client education Manage resources and budget on client projects A Senior Consultant in the Business Intelligence & Data Warehousing practice is expected to have the following overall IT and consulting expertise: Development of statements of work and/or client proposals Defining, developing, and documenting business and systems requirements. Contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel Understand the business context of the engagement Job Qualifications: In addition, team members in the Information Management - Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing practice must have the following management/strategy capabilities and technical skills. Management/Strategy Capabilities Manager Ability to scope out the effort and cost for an enterprise SAP MDM solution Ability to define how an enterprise SAP MDM system will align with the organization’s business and strategic objectives Ability to manage multiple teams on an SAP MDM engagement Sr Conslt Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements Designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementation Perform accurate analysis and effective diagnosis of client issues and manage day-to-day client relationships at peer client levels Technical Skills Manager Hands-on experience with the SAP Master Data Maintenance (MDM) Knowledge on SAP NetWeaver Products Understanding of how MDM integrates with NetWeaver, Basis, WAS, and other SAP modules SAP R/3 Enterprise WAS/NetWeaver Certification a plus Experience with the following: MDM Objects and Clients MDM content Integrator MDM Analytics in BW Must deeply understand master data schema development, access business rules, and master data design and migration processes Experience with Account Hierarchy/Item Hierarchy/Categorization design/development Monitoring and communicating overall Data enterprise master data project plans, priorities and progress against clients’ requirements Provides standards, guidelines, processes and expertise to consistently address recurring strategic enterprise master data issues such as data convergence, data standards and data synchronization Promote, educate and consult on enterprise master data strategies and best practices to clients and other affected teams. Additional professional certification(s) is highly desirable.
