Description:
The Business Solution Architect will assist the Field Sales Teams in developing account strategy, solution approach and sales tactics. During the sales cycle, the Business Solution Architect’s role is a crucial liaison between Product Management (Development and Product Marketing), Field Organization (Sales and Pre-Sales), and Services (Training and Implementation), in developing implementing, and facilitating sales strategies, techniques, presentations and branding for company solutions. Provide technical feedback and validate with Product management information regarding competition, new features, and new products in the marketplace.
Primary responsibilities:
- Work directly and provide strategic guidance to Account Managers for selling solutions into their territories. Participate in account reviews, forecast sessions and development of account strategies.
- Develop and implement strategies, techniques, presentations and branding for solutions to establish the criteria used to sell products, as well as ensure that others understand the key decisions, strategy and messaging.
- Develop and deliver quality standard presentations and demonstrations.
- Develop and deliver executive level presentations on the business value that include the technology and business drivers of our solution.
- Assist in the preparation of RFP’s and RFI’s.
- Define requirements for Competitive Information and gather competitive info.
- Participate in developing Strategic Sales campaigns and coordinate the activities of business and technical professionals from across the company to support the sales campaign.
- Actively participate in organizational skill exchanges and transfer of expertise to others.
- Demonstrate superior leadership and mentoring skills.
- Attend appropriate internal and external training as guided by management.

Qualifications:
- Superior understanding of technology and the business of Information Technology
- Ability to define how an ITIL compliant Architecture & Infrastructure solution will align with the client’s business and strategic objectives
- Knowledge of BMC Atrium, CMDB, CA Unicenter® is a plus
- Possess thorough knowledge of competition at the product and solution levels
- Knowledgeable in all solution areas
- Capable of presenting products, solutions, and value proposition at all levels to customers
- Demonstrated superior ability to deliver executive level presentations and establish immediate credibility and inspire confidence with your maturity, energy and articulate communication
- Thinks strategically

- Prior Sales Support / Consulting experience in a "Trusted Advisor" role (Those without prior Sales Support / Consulting experience will still be considered, but for a slightly lower level)

MUST be ITIL Foundation Certified; Practitioner or Master level highly desirable
A minimum of a Bachelors degree is REQUIRED. Masters degree, MBA, or higher is highly desirable.
Additional professional certification(s) is highly desirable.
MUST have the ability to travel as required, depending upon accounts and your location. Most travel will be of a regional variety.
